VERTICAL CIRCUITS INC. ANNOUNCES FORMATION OF NEW TECHNICAL ADVISORY BOARD

Vertical Circuits Inc. (VCI), a die-level semiconductor stacking company, today announced the formation of a new Technical Advisory Board (TAB). The company supplies semiconductor and electronic products and services to commercial and aerospace customers worldwide.
Vertical Circuits near chip-scale-packaging stacking provides an ideal solution for high density, high performance DDR-1 and DDR-2 memory modules for use in server and other demanding applications. The company anticipates that its micropedeTM stacked die BGAs components will become a major leading edge product for memory module manufacturers by addressing the performance, footprint and height short falls of current stackable memory and SIP solutions.

Appointed to the technical advisory board are:
-- Dr. Marcus Karnezos, former Technology Advisor to STATSChippac and former CTO of ChipPac. Dr. Karnezos has over 25 years experience in the semiconductor industry with expertise in stacking. Mr. Karnezos has over 50 U.S. patents and has published over 100 technical papers.
-- Leo Yuan, current CTO of Nature Worldwide Technology Corp. and former Technical Director at Sun Microsystems. Mr. Yuan has over 25 years experience in the semiconductor industry with expertise in servers. Mr. Yuan has 9 U.S. patents and is the recipient of Sun Microsystems President's Award.
-- Raj Masters, Senior AMD Fellow. Mr. Masters is involved in developing packaging technology for current products and strategic enabling technologies in the area of materials, process, thermal, and electrical performance. Mr. Masters has 32 U.S. patents issued to him and has published over 60 technical papers.
These accomplished members bring invaluable expertise and insight to Vertical Circuits.
